I have just released "NOCTURNAL FLOWER", my latest single from 'LONG LIVE WEIRD"!!!

I have just released my newest single from long live weird.. It is titled "NOCTURNAL FLOWER" and is in line with the poetic abstract tone of the album that has been the overall theme from the beginning of recording this project.

I've even gone so far as to put it in a playlist on soundcloud so you can listen to it along with previously released singles from LLW. ENJOY! The link is below......

The Fartzits Love Big Willy B!

I have just found out another story which will forever cement in popular culture how courageous Wilford Brimley is.

Apparently, on a humid August night 10 pm 30 years ago today,
75 year old Donna Fartzit and her 7 year old granddaughter Lucy Fartzit were at a local Nebraska 24 hour laundromat when they were confronted by a group of angry young goblins. Yes, you read that correctly. Goblins.

                                                               These guys.

Donna and Lucy didn't know what to do. Donna already had a full load in her depends due to a combination of eating at Taco Bell earlier in the evening, and a persistent, on-again, off again case of crohn's disease.

                                                        Donna Fartzit. AKA BAD BITCH.

The goblins were closing in, taunting Donna about her smelly adult diaper, and threatening to nibble on Lucy's fat little elbow folds. Poor Lucy was terrified.

Lucy Fartzit, moments after the incident, still in shock.

Then, out of nowhere, burst in BIG WILLY FUCKING B! Yep! Wilford Brimley rolled in with a mossberg pump shotgun and said "Whattup, Goblin Scum! You shoulda ate your goddamn quaker oats this morning!" (or something like that, i'm paraphrasing here) and preceeded to blow away the goblins one by one in a loud bloodbath that will forever go down in Nebraska history as the Big Willy B laundromat massacre. Blood was everywhere. Goblin brains were splattered all over the washing machines and dryers. Donna's Depends were overflowing. It was smelly, and sweaty, like most things Wilford Brimley is involved in. But it was glorious.

My vampires need to be MONSTERS, not goddamn prettyboys!

I love vampires.

Let me be more specific, I love REAL vampires. The horrific, monstrous vampires intended to scare the shit out of you, not those sparkly, I-fall-in-love-with-my-food-because-it-appeals-to-teenage-girls vampires that Twilight introduced us all to. Yuck.

I love creepy, pale, bald, pointy-eared nosferatu vamps.

                                                           Like this guy.

                                               or this guy.

So, of course, I'm a huge fan of The Strain, which is now in season 2 on FX.  If you have been living under a rock, and don't know what the show is or is about, just fucking watch it. You will not be disappointed. The vampires in this show are MONSTROUS, as they should be. They ruthlessly murder, suck dry, and turn humans at an alarming rate, and basically start the apocalypse. Yep, no "daylight rings", no "sparkly skin", no emo "I don't wanna be a vampire, cuz it gives me moral dilemmas every time I get hungry" shit. Nope, just good old monster action.

So, in summation, I still don't have much faith left in humanity, but at least TV vamps are improving, cuz, c'mon, who's scared of
                                           THIS guy?

This guy kinda looks like Darth Maul, but I'd vote for him!

So, I just ran across this guy on the internet that looks like a real life Darth Maul.. Seriously.

For those of you who don't know or for some reason can't remember what Darth Maul looks like, here's a pic of him for comparison's sake..

I dare say the resemblance is uncanny.

So it turns out, the look-alike is a guy named Vladimir Franz, and he is a Czech composer and painter, and apparently, he ran for president of the czech republic back in 2013.

Oh, and he randomly FUCKN RULES!

Unlike the villain that he looks so much like, this dude promotes tolerance, human rights, and alternative energy, amongst other cool stuff.

He actually did pretty well when he was running too, collecting 8,800 signatures in his first weekend  of campaigning..

So, anyway, this guy didn't become president of the Czech Republic, and I honestly don't know who did, because that guy probably just looks like any other boring politician. He certainly doesn't have any classic pics like the one below..

So there you have it folks! This guy exists, and he rules! Google that muthafucka!

And while you're at it, check out my new song "Weirdo"! The link is below!

I HAVE A NEW ALBUM IN THE WORKS! Here's why YOU should give a fuck.

Whattup, fellow aliens, haters, fans, braindead fucktards, and everyone else..

For those of you who don't know who the fuck I am, my name is Rebel Savage. I am a hip-hop artist from NC. More specifically, an unknown hip-hop artist from Greenville, NC.

Never heard of the place?

Not to worry, most people who haven't spent a few college years here at ECU probably haven't.

See, that's really all anyone knows this place for.. NOT it's Hip-Hop scene. That's mainly because it doesn't really have one. Most live music venues around here aren't open-minded enough to book anything other than country music coverbands, so, unless I want to learn how to play acoustic guitar, and begin writing songs about my non-existent pick-up truck, I have to go out of town for gigs. Don't get me wrong, those of us in this city who do make other music are looked out for by Tipsy Teapot, AKA The Limelight, and I have performed there a couple of times and it has been a blast each time..

BUT COME ON, FOLKS! ONE VENUE!?!?

Anyway, I didn't come up here to bitch.. I came up here to let you guys know that the BEST place to consistently find me until the day I have a REAL tour organized is right up here.. On the inter-webs.

Right now, I have a new album in the works entitled "Long Live Weird". I am nearing completion on this 13 track album, and am currently sharing the main single, "Weirdo", everywhere I can possibly embed it. I am extremely proud of this new album as I feel with this one I have undeniably found my voice.

In the physical world, I have been flooding Greenville with free sample CDs that have 3 songs from the album on them, "Weirdo",  "Big Butt", and "Prozac Nation". I keep some of these CDs stocked up at Cape Fear tattoo and bodypiercing downtown. Walk in there anytime and talk to Tex about getting a tattoo or piercing. That dude rules, and will make sure whatever you get done you are 100 percent happy with. Other CDs I have just been handing out myself, to whoever I meet that expresses an interest in music. Obviously, my 3rd means of getting these out there is to hand them out at shows, but, as previously mentioned, those are far and few between in this town.

My point is this, I, Rebel Savage, LOVE my audience, and will always give you guys the best I got, and until the day comes where I am doing well enough to come to every one of you guy's towns and perform for you, I will always be in the digi-verse of the inter-webs, linking whatever I've just recorded to whatever you guys are checking out, in order to get your attention and spew my weird thoughts into your head. But this isn't a one-way street. I would love to hear back from you, good or bad. When you run across something I've posted, don't just click "like", TALK about it! Comment on it, Share it, do whatever! As listeners of my music, you guys are important to me. FEEDBACK RULES.

Anyway, it's come time for me to do my promo thing, and point you to where you can find me.
